IR Curriculum Intent

Our Integrated Resource is intended to equip students with the knowledge and skills they require to live fulfilling and independent lives, achieving the goals and aspirations that they set for themselves. This will be achieved through adapting learning to the individual needs of each student to ensure they are engaged and making progress though a broad and balanced curriculum. This provision will be carefully reviewed in relation to the impact interventions are having upon the progress of all learners to ensure students are best equipped to achieve their goals. Barriers will be minimised to participation in school life, relationships between teachers and pupils will be nurtured through mutual respect. We aim to ensure students are prepared for life beyond Bradfield with an understanding of the world, how to stay safe and the ability to build positive, healthy relationships.
