From 2022/23 there was a return to pre-pandemic standards for GCSEs, AS and A levels, with protection built into the grading process to recognise the disruption that students have faced. 

2023/24 results

• % of pupils achieving Grade 5 or above in English & Maths: 51%
• Attainment 8 Score: 44.94
• English Baccalaureate Average Point Score: 3.9
• % of students entering the EBacc: 19%

2022/3 results

• Progress 8 Score: -0.45
• % of pupils achieving Grade 5 or above in English & Maths: 53%
• Attainment 8 Score: 46.8
• English Baccalaureate Average Point Score: 4.02
• % of students entering the EBacc: 20%
